Why does everything I upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?
Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a Sirkut Electronics Gnarler, Boss Metal Zone, DOD Grunge, and finally, a Danelectro French Fries Auto Wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. This is a sample taken from a longer piece.

I was really surprised by it! Especially because the French Fries pedal is sort of "blah" in most cases... Definitely the most convincing vocal sounds I've stumbled on. I've been meaning to try this set-up again.
