you will be surprised about the use of the silence mp3:
it seems that sound of birds of prey may be used for repelling birds that eat fruits in my garden. Devices for repelling birds are widely on the market, but just for fun I want to try out the following:
I have a small MP3 player module using a memory sim and includes a 2w speaker. I have a collection of sounds , mp3, of birds of prey.
However, it is a bit stupid to play these sounds continuously, thus the folder wil contain about 5 mp3 bird sounds separated by silences, in a continuously way.
10 second is ok for the test, and to see/listen to the outcome.
For the real setup, a silence of several minutes will be wanted.
I might compose that by several, lots, of thes 10 seconds files.
In a later setup a digital timer the swith the device on and off is probably better for the battery life.

Your effort in creating the 5 and 10 seconds of silence has been really a lifesaver for me trying to tie some tracks together for a memorial service
