The center of the modern urban live of Barcelona. Its soundscape is a very “harmonious” combination of traffic sounds, birds singing and people talking. This square is one of the central points of the traffic of the city. Cars, buses, Auto van’s and so run by the square, taking out its explosions, purrs, screeching… all of them mixed with the sounds of the children playing into the square, or the young crew muzzing ones to others. Birds, as if all of this were normal to them, play their songs, putting their point to this soundscape so strange and harmonic composed with elements that look mutually exclusive.
