Inspiration struck when I needed to deflect light from a bare bulb in my studio. I headed to the kitchen, grabbed some fresh foil, and on my way back, decided to capture the sound. You never know when you might need some well-recorded wide stereo field foil sound effects. I used 2 Audio Technica AT-2020 mics plugged straight into my Focusrite 18i20. Recorded in REAPER using only the stock EQ and a low cut @ 300 Hz to remove rumble.
