Railroad Crossing with Bell and Train Passing

Diepenbeek, Limburg, Belgium

The sound of a Belgian railroad crossing when a train is passing.
Notice how the volume and frequency of the bell changes when the barrier reflects the sound as it lowers.
This recording was made just after the announcement that the Belgian railroad company Infrabel is replacing this classic mechanical bell sound with a new digital pulsating sound.
