Right now for mics I mainly use a sennheiser e835, for a preamp a use the behringer tube ultragain mic100, and to bring to into my computer I use a simple xlr to usb adapter.
equipment for Foley recording,
I'll mostly use the same preamp and xlr to usb adapter, but as for the mic I will use a much nicer condenser mic to record most sounds, but it really depends on what I'm recording to what kind of mic I use.
