Hi, I'm David. Photographer, essayist, educator, and beginner field recordist based just outside of Tokyo, Japan.

Here to share the recordings I make so that they might be of use or enjoyment to others. I'm new to this, so apologies for any technical problems that might arise with some of my recordings.

Also, if anyone has any requests for Japan-specific sounds, feel free to get in touch. No guarantees I'll be able to get anything specific, but no reason I can't keep a running list and get what I can as opportunities arise.

For everything I upload here, I probably have the original 32-bit wav files on hand. Might take me a moment to find what I'm looking for, but if you want a higher quality file of something just get in touch.
