Suddenly, the air thickens. Maybe someone said something, maybe the main character just realized something.. The air thickens. From now on, the dialogue gets a different color. We still don't know why, but the indications are there, in the subconscious.

This sound is part of the Weird Roomtones soundpack - a compilation of synthetic ambiences and silences meant to enhance a neutral atmosphere in the desired direction. The filenames usually describe an imaginary situation that I imagine would need the particular roomtone, often influenced by movies I've watched.
