Three long bursts of buzzer sound recorded close to a Signal Electric Mfg. Co. R-68 Morse Practice Set from the 1940s. The buzzer (a simple relay type) was powered from a 3 V DC constant-voltage power supply. There is no cover on the buzzer, but there would have been originally.

Thanks! I was really impressed with the BBC Radio documentary made around the time of the Titanic centenary that replayed distress messages using a reproduction of the spark gap transmitter sound
