This is an effect I built intending to represent someone with weighted feet, thrown into the sea to drown. Partly from Freesound effects, partly from recordings made with a Zoom H1. Enjoy.

I think that maybe you are confusing EQ'd to sound like it is underwater with being out of phase, it isn't, I checked with a phase scope. I feel "totally wrong" is a little harsh as the production for which I made the effect were very pleased with it. You are, however, entitled to your opinion and thank you for you comment. Oh, and I use Sound Forge 10, each to their own.

I'm not sure what you did to compile this but it is totally out of phase. Make sure you use a serious audio program like Pro Tools to create your stereo effects so they don't come out totally wrong like this one.
