Sandyrb Snare Pack - Tama Fuzzy 13x3

This 48KHz/24bit sample pack, which is intended for use with software such as Drumagog or Sound Replacer, contains 110 samples of a Tama Fuzzy 13x3 snare drum recorded with a choice of eleven different microphones and multiple velocity layers. For each microphone choice there are ten velocity layers. The microphones used were an AKG D202, an Audio Technica ATM250, an Audix D6, a Beyer Dynamic M201, an Electrovoice ND868, an Electrovoice RE20, a Josephson E22, a Lawson FET47, a Shure SM57 and a Shure SM7B. The final microphone was the Josephson C720, a remarkable microphone of which only twenty were made to mark the Josephson company's 20th anniversary. Placement of mic varied according to sensitivity and polar pattern. Preamps used were Amek throughout and all sources were recorded directly to Pro Tools through Frontier Design Group and Digidesign converters. Final editing and processing was carried out in Cool Edit Pro.
