I wanted a drum which was like the huge drums used in "Fanfare For The Common Man" by Aaron Copland (not the rocky ELP version from the seventies). This is a floor tom slowed down with reverb from an AKG BX20e and some compression.

This is beautiful. There is something very cinematic in it's sound - would be great for a startling moment in a movie or game. ;-) Excellent work, my friend!
