This 24bit 48KHz file is a remix of Carthach's excellent work CRUSHING_ICE.WAV (sample 94655). I took two of the 'crushes', layered them and added a lot of Haas effect stereo expansion. Then I dropped the pitch of the result down by two octaves (one quarter of the speed of the original). Finally I made the initial attack louder to create a greater sense of impact. All processing was carried out in Cool Edit Pro.
