WARNING: This recording contains profane language! This recording is from my police scanner. The incident happened around the early 1990's. A woman from Kansas was able to steal a Houston Police car and drive around town with it! In the mean time, the dispatcher tried to get information on her location on their radio system, but "Sandy" wouldn't comply, only cursing and condemning herself, her life, and the police. She eventually crashed into a freeway pillar, and got out of the car. Although you will hear them say "shots were fired", and she was "in custody", the truth is she revealed a knife, they shot at her, and she died at the scene. Very ironic considering she mentions in the recording, she wanted the police to kill her.
