intersting sound of the pedestrian crossing accross australia. standing idle at a pedestrain crossing recorded on a zoom h4n. the beeping is normally louder but the crossing automatically reduces its volume when there is less sound. I noticed that every time a car would come past it would increase in olume so it could be heard and then decrease in volume when it was silent as to not disturb the neighbourhood. the more you know!
