there is a secluded beach just outside of Cape Town known as Sandy Bay. A footpath runs on the side of the mountain from the parking area to the beach. Here, on a hot summer day, as you walk along the path the cicadas can be heard in the undergrowth. Far below, the sound of the restless sea.
