The term, "Pyew!" does not refer to a funky smell. It's a crude way of referring to the sound of a single shot of a ray gun or laser weapon. This is a very long sound effect that beginnings with the highest possible squealing "Pyew!" and very slowly descends to the lowest depths. What you can do with it is limited only to your imagination and creativity.
