Scratching a cardboard box with recently cut fingernails at slightly varying intensity and speed that leans toward slow. Recorded with Zoom H2n, MS mode, 24bit 96kHz, max gain, close proximity.
18x15.5x9cm shipping cardboard box with some tape and labels. Its content is the packaging of an Audient iD4 audio interface with the interface in it, so quite a heavy little box. The box was in my lap, as I was scratching one of the two biggest surfaces with one hand and holding the recorder with the other. I was sitting on a sofa.
Using Audacity I cut off the start and end of the recording and removed two blocks from the middle, resulting in cut points at 999010 and 1861822 samples.
As a near universal truth, halving the sample rate results in nice slow deep sound sweeteners.
