Drum loops. Approximately 91bpm. Crunchy breakbeats. I played and recorded these drums in my living room on a Rims drum kit. I used Shure PE50SP dynamic mic overhead and Shure PE53 wrapped in a towel on the kick. Recorded through a Mackie mixer with a DOD 866II compressor into a Motu 828 digital interface. I then added reverb, compressed and distorted the recording in the computer I can't remember what plug ins I used. I wanted it to sound like another time and place. 1960's big studio.
