The sound of a heavy impact with the earth followed by falling debris.
Constructed in LIVE!
I used a reversed kick drum, pitched and automated for the pre impact sound and four different kick drums filtered and trimmed to create the impact. Made the falling dirt and debris sound from a clap, bongo, finger snap, cabasa, shaker, guiro and conga hits put through LIVE!’s Erosion plug in and then a grain delay.
Created for the "Earth Wind Fire Water competition".

Excellent Sample. Thank you, I used this as a nice kick drum and it turned out to be a nice club style kick. Exactally what I was looking for to make my song "shake" :)
