Recorded on board a hydrofoil that left Lipari for Messina. The recording focuses on the part where the hydrofoil stops at the Vulcano docking station.

Various types of sounds can be heard associated with the vessel's engine proceeding at a steady speed, decelerating, idling and then accelerating again.
The chatter of some (US) passengers.
The voice of a crew member announcing through the intercom the arrival at the Vulcano dock and the departure for Messina and Reggio-Calabria.

Recorded date: 20/06/2025 at 06:16 with: Zoom H1n with windscreen. Processing: no processing
