Soundscape recorded outdoors in a small woodland in the Po Valley lowlands, around 1:00 AM.
The recording was made using a ZOOM H1n handheld recorder with a windscreen.
Unfortunately, since the microphone wasn't mounted on a stand, some handling noise is present.
Despite this, at least five different animals can be clearly heard, including:
- numerous begging calls from a Long-eared Owl (Asio otus);
- the song of a Common Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos);
- occasional nocturnal calls from a Common Moorhen (Gallinula chloropus);
- a bat;
- a cricket.
