A cold winter wind around midnight, outside the fence of the school's stadium, in a residential area of the city. Very cold weather (-22 °C). The wind blows across the expanses of the stadium, raising a snowdrift. The maple trees above me crackle from the frost and the onslaught of close gusts of wind. The city sleeps. As you can hear, there is practically no traffic noise, but there are quieter background man-made noises, one of them is the low-frequency background from the city boiler room, which is very clearly audible in winter.
Recorded January 21, 2024 on Tascam DR-05x with post processing.
