Played around with my artificial thunder experiments and mixed them with a recording of real rain in the yard. To create an atmosphere with natural reverb and echoes to color rumbles and crackles, two parallel patches were created, each with parallel impulse reverb, and per-channel delays (colored impulse reverb).
