This recording begins with the alarm call of a common whitethroat (Curruca communis) but is then dominated by a common woodpigeon (Columba palumbus) duetting with another a short distance away.
There is some wind noise but this has been left in. The recording was made close to the bush the main two birds were located in, which was less than 100m from a cliff edge by the sea. Bright, warm (about 31C) day with occasional gusts of wind.
Recorded with a Sennheiser ME66/K6 attached to a Zoom H5studio.
