Left my H2 in the garden hedge on a snowy day in Denmark. The local blackbirds were foraging for rotting apples fallen from the neighbour's tree, buried under the snow.
A birder friend confirmed that the gentle "chirrup" sounds are "locator" calls so the birds know where each other is - they then squawk when a threat is perceived.
