This sound was produced in Audacity®, the Free, Cross-Platform Sound Editor. It's composed of 4 stereo tracks. Two were created by the ClickTrack generator for the drums in the background, one the track were given a longer tempo for the gong sound in the foreground, then a GVerb filter was applied to it to create the effect of sound attenuating down a long tunnel. The two other were samples from members of FreeSound community (credited in the properties of the file) were imported and remixed into the 2 generated tracks in layers at a different decibels.
