This reminds me of a track that Trent Reznor made for the Quake 1 game. I think it was Track 11, the final track, that had a similar metallic ambient sound.

I played the Call of Cthulhu game once. Didn't like it much, but I really like this sound. Good work and quite reminiscent of the game atmosphere/horror. I didn't like those creepy guys trying to stab me and "cut" me down.
