Saxophone Scales - D Major - 2 Octaves (raw sounds from my latest ambient release - track 2)

A 2 octave, D major scale played on my alto saxophone.

I layered all 3 of the recordings in this sound pack, staggering their start times, to create the 2nd track on my latest album. I manipulated the recordings by stretching their lengths by a factor of 1.2 using Paulstretch (the version built into Audacity) and applying reverb.

This is one of the raw sounds used on my latest album:

I used Audacity to produce the album, as I was interested in how using the software would change my process.

As well as releasing the stems and raw sounds, I have begun making a series of YouTube videos delving into my creative process.
