This is merely the sound of a CD case opening and closing (if anyone is interested, it was the CD for the ending theme of the Cross Ange anime, sung by Eri Kitamura, though that doesn't change the sound...)
This kind of snapping sound can also be used for little things opening and closing. I used this sound for a medicine cabinet sound at one point.
