A field-recording taken standing next to a frozen lake. There is no snow on the lake and the sun is warm, so what you are hearing is the ice slowly cracking all over the lake and reverberating through the water/ice. There is also wind present and I am not good enough to remove it in a good way, so I leave this sound entirely as was recorded.
