Latent Sonorities Sample Pack

A mid-range rack of ten, twelve or fourteen small horizontally suspended gongs arranged in two rows with each gong having a corresponding gong an octave apart. Basically, there are three kinds of bonang playing techniques: gembyangan, pipilan, and imbal-imbalan that are worth learning and exploring. The instrument was borrowed from the Haus der Indonesischen Kulturen – Rumah Budaya Indonesia – (RBI) in Berlin, performed by Bilawa Ade Respati and recorded by Rabih Beaini at Morphine Raum in Berlin in May 2023.
