An electric kettle starting to boil - it has a high-pitched shrieking effect great for layering into sound design. I've used this in a couple horror trailer pieces. Enjoy!

I have recently used a kettle whistle to layer into sounds in one of my music pieces. This technique is surprisingly interesting.
