This is the aggregate recording of three different mics on a vintage Ludwig snare. Shure Sm57 on top, Royer 121 on bottom, mixed with a mono Neumann U47 overhead set up. Recorded beautifully on an API: Legacy Plus Console at a studio in Boston.
