Highly Amplified Tape Machine Noise Floors (Morphagene-formatted)

The latest in our series of Morphagene-formatted noise-texture Reels to download and patch with!

This Reel contains 8 Splices of noise floor sounds captured from four tape machines playing back blank tape. These sounds were then heavily amplified, resulting in a variety of noise textures to be played back on the Morphagene. They include:

A Nagra 4.2, playing back tape at (1) 15ips, (2) 7.5ips and (3) 3.75ips as well as (4) at 3.75 through its internal speaker.

(5) A Panasonic RQ-194S playing back tape at 3.75ips

(6) A TEAC X-2000R playing back tape at 7.5ips

A Sony Walkman playing back tape at its (7) "Fast" and (8) "Slow" speeds.
