Exeter, Rhode Island, United States

This was recorded just before dawn in the woods of western Rhode Island, USA. I don't know for sure what animal made it, but the two theories are: 1. Mating foxes. 2. A Fisher, sometimes called a Fisher Cat for its taste for domestic cats. It is a badger-like predator which is apparently quite aggressive. I would welcome any further input.

You need to rename this sample FOX so people can find it and use it. What is the point of a name that means nothing when the sound is a fox barking?

in my opinion this sample is definite a maturing fox, because I also hear that tonight live in my backyard until my neighbor chasing the fox off. so foxes in US make also the same noise than in germany

Sounds just like a fox to me, assuming that North American foxes make the same noise as UK foxes :)
