Subways in NYC don't usually get quiet. Somehow I found myself on a quiet train from New York to New Jersey, not one vocal, apart from the public service announcement.
Lots of what you'd expect from a train ride: squealing, screeching, rocking, and I got lucky as many stops and starts.
Taken at 44.1, with the FiRE app on an iPhone 4. Don't doubt those little guys.
