Impulse Response recorded at the Choir Hall from ESMUC, Barcelona at the Mid Center source position. This file is part of a collection of IR captured from the same mic placement but with the source at different points of the stage. This allows simulating true stereo panning by placing instruments on the stage by convolution instead of simply level differences.
The recording is in MS Stereo, with a omnidirectional and a figure-of-eight C414 microphones.
The channel number 1 is the Side and the number 2 is the Mid.
To perform the convolution, an LR decomposition is needed:
L = channel 2 + channel 1
R = channel 2 - channel 1

Thanks! This was part of a school project; I did simulate the "true panning" using some anechoic recordings in the end. The results were pretty cool, even though the recordings I used had pretty low quality...

You've gone to a lot of effort here. Well done. :-)
