This is a very long recording made in my atticspace of cars passing a main road. There is also the sound of a plane passing by somewhere in there, available as a separate recording. 4th-gen iPod touch, converted with media.io and edited with Audacity.

Unfortunately, this is only a idea of a sound. The quality with ipod touch is so bad and only mono, that there is rarely a use of this sound. But the idea was great, to record this sound! Give it a try and record it again in stereo and with something better than ipod. Zoom for example...
