Indoor Crowd Holiday Craft Fair Mix 3 December 5 2020

Although I almost always post nature recordings, I'm also fascinated by recording the sounds of gatherings of people. The various sentence fragments, laughs and various exclamations capture my imagination. Listening to the soft-ish murmor of crowd noise is like a river of memories steadily flowing down to the source.

This was recorded at a very popular indoor Christmas Craft Market in Illinois. I have carefully gone through this to make sure there are no clear copyright protected, and no clearly identifiable people or subjects.

This mono recording was made using my Marantz PMD 661 recorder and the microphone was my
Deity S-Mic 2S.
