A soundscape of early autumn in Illinois' Shawnee National Forest, recorded on Saturday October 18 2025.
It's basically pretty quiet, except for some wind rushing through the changing leaves and some very distant traffic.
Off and on, you'll hear somebody walking/crunching on the leaves covering the forest floor.
