Stereo rocket-attack exterior recorded at KAV (Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan)
I have recorded this sound when I was in Afghanistan to film the Dutch Air Force. I was for 8 days on the compound and experienced 4 times a "rocket attack alarm situation". This recording was the 4th !

Hard to imagine being there - it really must have been a sound with a big impact. Thanks for sharing this piece of harsh reality.
