Ambience in floodplain of river Maas in the Netherlands during a winter day.
There are inland vessels passing by or making a sharp turn towards the river Waal.
Against the dyke, but on the side of the water, where no houses would ever be built again at this time of year, people are #0:20renovating their homes.
#12:00 F35 fighter jets are engaged in a dogfight high in the sky.

About the picture
The photo shows a peaceful, misty river landscape near Maren-Kessel on the Meuse. In the foreground is a vast, green floodplain where a few sheep graze peacefully. A little further on, the river flows, glistening softly in the subdued light of the misty afternoon. A ship sails across the water from right to left, heading towards the Canal of Saint Andrew. On the opposite bank are bare trees, which take on an almost silhouette-like appearance in the mist. In the foreground, a microphone is set up on a tripod.

About the environment
This is a water-rich area. The River Meuse flows past us. Ships can sail to the River Waal via the (kanaal van Sint Andries) Canal of Saint Andrew. We are here in the province of North Brabant, with Gelderland on the other side of the river. This river delta flows westwards and empties into the North Sea, 100 km away.
