Across the canal that cuts through the heart of downtown ’s-Hertogenbosch, work is being done on a house. Hammering echoes steadily—rhythmic, persistent. In the distance, voices drift in and out. Meanwhile, local traffic hums past, weaving through the city’s morning pulse.
