It is half past nine in the evening. The tower clock strikes. A fighter jet disappears from the audio picture. Someone is working in his garden. A car passes on the cobbled road behind the house. At 500 metres, on the Amer river embankment, sheep bleat. A blackbird sings its evening song. On the left, near the marina café, people talk. It is getting dark. Evening falls over the village.

Village Lage-Zwaluwe is 500 m from rivers; Amer, Nieuwe Merwede and Hollands Diep and close to national park Biesbosch. You van hear the inland vessels. In front of the microphones the large polder. Behind me the village street.
