I thought I was capturing the sound of a quiet and beautiful summer evening, but it is the mosquitoes that think otherwise.
Planes. A boat on the river.
Village Lage-Zwaluwe is 500 m from river Amer and Hollands Diep. You van hear the inland vessels. In front of the microphones the large polder. Behind me the village street.

The contrast between your intention (capturing a calm evening) and the relentless presence of mosquitoes and boats adds a fascinating layer of realism.
