Windy summer day on the Amer river near Lage-zwaluwe in the Netherlands. The river is crowded with ships. You can hear a modern barges with a fast diesel engine passing by. The engines are cleaner, but no longer make such a nice sound. And that's what I'm into too. At the end a sloop passing by.
Across the river, people have moored their boats and are now enjoying the sunshine. People also cycle past behind me on the winter dyke.
The crickets call out above the noise of wind and ships.
Summer noon with wind in the reeds on 25m. The river is on 70m. The other side river(s) are 3 km.
