high altitude f16 fighter jets and summer river 157 PM 240619_0741

Fighter jets soar high over the river, and the wind rustles through the leaves. Birds sing in the background. Small waves on sandy beach of river. Summer ambiance. It’s delightful to hear the cuckoo call as well.

That this afternoon is so full of noise is because a training. We live about 40 km from Volkel Air Base, where Ukrainian pilots are trained to fly F-16s and supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine?
