Ambient field. Calm background ambiance of a cold night on the edge of a Dutch village and the farming fields/polder. (Netherlands/ Holland).

About the picture: The light in the sky is from light pollution caused by the city of Dordrecht about 7 km away.

The bell from two towers ring ones. It is night and pitch dark. The Lapwings are still in full courtship. The Mallard ducks also walk over the land. Some light rain on the windjammer and on the railing. In the distance, tipsy people leave the cafe.

On the left in the west, about 3 km away, are the bridges over the busy Holland Diep river. At 1 km a road runs through the polder and behind the house there is the village cobblestone road.
On the right is the farm.
In front of me the fields.
