Winter woods / pinewood January afternoon in the Netherlands near village Giersbergen, The Netherlands. Calm ambience.
Far the first woodpeckers feel that spring is in the air;

There is a friendly tranquillity in this nature reserve. The habitation and the roads are at a reasonable distance to make a nice sound recording. There are some bikers riding through the forest. In the distance, a train rushes into the city. Woodpeckers make their domain heard. A woman with her dog walks by without observing me and the equipment. Fantastic to hear the great tit again. Spring must be in the air. People are chatting with each other.
